Come celebrate the Risen King on the morning of Easter at the Sunrise Service. Meet in the North Foyer at 7:00 am for worship and a special message from Pastor Dale.

Free Community Easter Egg Hunt

Let’s Celebrate the Risen King with a FREE Easter egg hunt. Everyone is invited! Inflatables, carnival games, and of course hunting Easter eggs.

A free hot dog and drink for every person! Popcorn or cotton candy for everyone!

Everyone is invited, the fun starts at 12:00 pm!

Register when you get here, egg hunts will happen at different times from 12-3:00 pm. Everyone gets 20 eggs!

Join us on Ash Wednesday, February 14, at 7:00 pm to begin your Lenten journey. This night will be filled with a special time of worship, biblical insight and prayer stations for reflection and personal response.

Don’t miss this special worship experience. Actively engage with the Lord as we begin the season of Lent.

This is a family service. Childcare is available for birth - Kindergarten but all other ages will enjoy the service with their parents in the Sanctuary.

We invite you to worship and allow God to fill your heart with peace, hope, and joy at special services on Christmas Eve.

Join us in person at 11:00 am or 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

The morning and evening services will be different. You'll get a different experience at each service, so come for both!

• There will be no 9:30 am activities for kids or adults.

• We will have only one family service on Christmas Eve morning at 11:00 am.

  • Childcare will be provided at the 11:00 am service for ages birth - 2.

• The 5:00 pm service is also family worship, your kids will celebrate with you in the Sanctuary. We will have activity bags for kids in the morning and evening services!

If you cannot be with us in person, please join us online at 11:00 am or 5:00 pm on our Website or on our Facebook page.

Children, ages birth through 18, will receive the traditional Chrismon ornament gift.

Join us for this special Christmas service! 

Blue Christmas is designed to provide comfort, support and hope for all experiencing grief, sadness, or loneliness during this Christmas season. It acknowledges that not everyone experiences the joy and celebration often associated with Christmas and offers a space for reflection and healing. 

You may have a great loss, lost a job, no family near, or just need to find hope again.  This service is a safe and welcoming space for individuals to acknowledge their pain and find solace in the message of hope through Jesus Christ.  Even in darkness, there is a promise of light and healing through faith.

Come listen to Naz Jazz perform popular Christmas tunes in jazz, fusion, and rock styles. This all ages event is free to attend and is located in the Sanctuary of WCN. The jazzy Christmas cheer starts at 6:00 pm on December 17. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

Invite your friends and neighbors to wear their costumes and join us in the WCN parking lot on Sunday, October 22nd from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

• Bonfires with s'mores

• Cider and donuts

• Yard games

• Pumpkin decorating. Free pumpkin for every kid!

• Treat Street (special activities and even more candy this year for kids)

Join us on Sunday, September 24 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Sanctuary, for a time of prayer and intercession for the greater Cincinnati area.

Other churches in the Greater Cincinnati Prayer Canopy will be joining us for this evening of worship and prayer.

This special service happens on the fourth Sunday each month at a different church in the prayer canopy network.

Summer Block Party

Grab your kids, neighbors, friends, extended family and stay after morning worship for WCN’s Summer Block Party on Sunday, July 30 from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.

Slide on the inflatable water slip n’ slide or down the inflatable waterslide and jump in the bounce house. Play all kinds of games including: 9 Square, Cornhole, Kickball, Spikeball, Board Games and more. Food trucks will be on-site for dinner, snacks and treats to purchase! Competitions for prizes and door prizes.

You can also get signed up for SERVE week opportunities in the north foyer.

Be a blessing to the community! Rake leaves at homes around the church or partner with RASKALS to provide outdoor prep for senior adults’ homes for the winter. Sign up for the morning or afternoon shift or both by clicking on the volunteer button.

People of all ages are welcome. Bring work gloves and any yard tools you have. Meet at the church at 8:30 am for coffee. Lunch will be served for volunteers at noon. Childcare is available for kids birth-kindergarten.

Join the JOY Club (55+) on Wednesday, October 13 for a catered lunch and a tour of City Gospel Mission (CGM). Transportation from the church at 11:00 am on the church bus. Lunch is at 12:00 pm. Tour led by Barry Baker (Executive VP of Youth Programs at CGM. Tour and discussion ends at 2:00 pm, return to the church by 3:00 pm. Sign up at the JOY Club table as soon as possible so they can order lunches. Contact Bev Dowler with any questions. This event is open to everyone!

What is Church Membership?
At West Chester Nazarene Church, Membership is a commitment to support and participate in the mission of WCN and in the global church of the Nazarene. Those who are followers of Jesus and are willing to lock arms with brothers and sisters in Christ around the world to accomplish the mission God has given us are encouraged to join the church. Governmentally, church members elect lay representatives (church board) to lead the congregation. Joining the church is also a way to make your voice heard in important matters such as, electing a senior pastor, buying property, building buildings, and more.

The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots."

Give to Alabaster online at https://give.nazarene.org/donate/f/126593 or pick up a box in the foyer and fill it up! Bring your filled Alabaster box to church on September 26 and place it in box on the Missions’ table or place it in the drop box in the back of the Sanctuary.

The annual Kids Fishing Derby is back! This event is for kids up to the age of 13. Fish from 10:00 am till 11:30 am, hot dog lunch until 12:00 pm. Prizes & Giveaways! Bait will be provided. Meet in the church parking lot at 9:45 am and walk over to Chesterwood.

If you have a fishing pole, please bring it. Poles will be provided for kids who don't have their own. Permission slip signed by parent/guardian/grandparent is required to participate. Don't forget your sunscreen and a camera, if you want pictures.
