Blue Christmas is designed to provide comfort, support and hope for all experiencing grief, sadness, or loneliness during this Christmas season. It acknowledges that not everyone experiences the joy and celebration often associated with Christmas and offers a space for reflection and healing. 

You may have a great loss, lost a job, no family near, or just need to find hope again. This service is a safe and welcoming space for individuals to acknowledge their pain and find solace in the message of hope through Jesus Christ. Even in darkness, there is a promise of light and healing through faith.

Great Big Family Productions presents Sidewalk Prophet's "Great Big Family Christmas".

Join Dove Award winning band Sidewalk Prophet's as they welcome you out from the cold of winter, and into the warmth of the Great Big Family Room. The Great Big Family Christmas is all about making Christmas memories, and most importantly celebrating the birth of Christ.

The night features an joy-filled Christmas concert featuring Sidewalk Prophet's original Christmas music, as well as, the hit songs that you know and love. In addition to the music, this night is full of surprises, and maybe some surprise gifts too!

To cap things off, the tour ends each night by raising funds for a local charity or individual in need and has a goal of giving away over 1 million dollars to those in need within the next 10 years.

Bring your friends, bring your family, bring a stranger because this Christmas we're all a part of the Great Big Family, and we're gonna celebrate!

Hurricane Relief

We are collecting supplies to provide Hurricane Relief for those affected by recent hurricanes in Florida and North Carolina. 

Here is the list of the supplies we are collecting:

  • Personal care products: Antibacterial soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion, etc.

  • Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergents, general cleaner, sponges, bleach (powdered form is preferred), mops, scrub brushes, buckets, rubber gloves, etc.

  • Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

  • Baby and infant supplies: Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion, etc.

  • First-aid items: Bandages, gauze, pads, first aid tape, antiseptic creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, latex gloves, instant cold packs, etc.

  • Candles and flashlights: If necessary, please include the appropriate size batteries with any flashlight donation

  • Clean-up supplies: Protective eyewear, work gloves, trash bags etc.

Bring all donations to the church and place in the blue bin outside of the church office entrance (door #2) between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm or in the blue bin outside of God’s Threads on Sunday.

We are accepting items now through October 20.  We will then take supplies to Matthew 25 ministries for distribution to affected areas on Monday, October 21.

If you would like to give financially, please give through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries by clicking DONATE, we are not collecting funds to shop for supplies.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading

Includes a uniform, 1 week day practice for 60-90 minutes for 12 weeks, and 8 Saturday games

A GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE the players want. Each week players are introduced like the pros with music and lights as their names are announced. FUN and COMPETITION without a win at all cost atmosphere. MINUTES not MILES so everyone plays and you don't spend more time in the car than at the game. GREAT OFFICIALS who are OHSAA certified for 3rd grade and up and trained volunteers for 2nd grade and under. Teamwork, fun, playing to the best of your ability, and healthy competition are key to a great sports experience.

We are blessed to live in a country where, by law, on the first Thursday of May, our President proclaims a day of prayer for our nation. For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:29-31

Ready, Set, Move! Vacation Bible School

For Kids 4 Years – 6th Grade

Ready, Set, Move Vacation Bible School is taking place June 4-7 from 6:30-8:30 pm for kids ages 4 - 6th grade. Get ready, get set and MOVE this summer to a VBS experience that encourages every child to follow Jesus here, there, and everywhere. Bible stories, games, science experiments, a mission project, and so much more.

This year we’ll have a special family experience themed to ‘Tacky Tourist Night' on Wednesday, June 7. Kids ages 4 - 6th grade will bring their whole family for high energy worship, games, and a Bible story. Afterwards we’ll celebrate the week with food (tourist snacks) and games in the parking lot.

Be a blessing to the community! Rake leaves at homes around the church or partner with RASKALS to provide outdoor prep for senior adults’ homes for the winter. Sign up for the morning or afternoon shift or both by clicking on the volunteer button.

People of all ages are welcome. Bring work gloves and any yard tools you have. Meet at the church at 8:30 am for coffee. Lunch will be served for volunteers at noon. Childcare is available for kids birth-kindergarten.
