This time of year WCN's youth group (The Neighborhood) always looks forward to their favorite fundraiser, Adult Night Out, a night of family fun, food, and trivia. COVID has altered some of our plans, but The Neighborhood is excited to announce that on Saturday, November 21st instead of you coming for a night of fun, the night of fun is coming to you!
You can pay to have a homemade meal prepared by The Neighborhood delivered to your house on Saturday, November 21st. With this meal you will also receive a link to a trivia game for your family to tackle as you enjoy your meal together. The winner of this trivia game will receive a $50 Chick-fil-A gift card! Oh, and no cheating. :)
Our menu for the night:
Baked Italian casserole with homemade red sauce
Bread with garlic butter
Salad with homemade dressing
Meals will be prepared as a 2 person serving size for $40.00. You can purchase additional meals to accommodate your family size. We will deliver the meal(s) to your home or you can choose to pick up your meal(s) at the church.
All of the proceeds will help students in The Neighborhood afford life changing events like Winter Retreat and Summer camp.
Another way you can support the youth group AND those most affected by COVID-19 is by purchasing a meal for shut-ins or high risk people. We have been given a list of 20 names of people connected to WCN that could use the blessing of a delicious hot meal. For $40.00 The Neighborhood would love to prepare and deliver a meal in your name to one of these people.
