On April 24 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, WCN is partnering with the Faith Alliance of Liberty Township and West Chester for X Days! X Days is a community service day to go out in the community and be the “eXternal” Church. Projects are available for children entering 1st grade and older.

Please sign up for a time slot to participate. Click below to sign up or sign up in person in the North Foyer on Sunday, April 18.

Available projects include:

• Make Cards and Gift Baskets for West Chester police, firemen, and hospital staff

  • Cards and baskets made in Hawks Hall for 1 police station, 7 fire houses, 2 hospitals.

• Painting an exterior ramp

  • 16 years and up. This project is located in Liberty Township. Please dress appropriately, wearing closed toed shoes.

• Raskals

  • Help local senior citizens with yard work. 1st Grade and older.

We’ll meet in the WCN Gym at 8:30 am for further instructions and a send-off prayer.

Childcare is available at WCN for the event and everyone that participates receives a t-shirt. Please let us know the number of children birth through Kindergarten who will need childcare and your t-shirt size when you sign up. T-Shirts can be picked up in the north foyer on Sunday, April 18, or in the gym on Saturday, April 24.

X-Days unifies area churches under one common mission in Jesus Christ, displaying to the community what His Church can do together to clearly reveal that the “church” is not a building--it is His people at work to make His name famous and His power revealed. Jesus wants us to be His disciples and to spread God's love! To follow in Jesus' footsteps, we need to do as He did, to be among others, building relationships with them as living reflections of His redemptive love.
